HELLO!

I’m Tanja—an illustrator with creativity in my DNA. My German mother and grandmother were my earliest (and most fabulous) inspirations: they painted porcelain, sewed everything I wore, and treated every meal like a work of art. I grew up with a ceramics studio in my backyard and spent summers with family exploring Europe in a bright yellow VW bus. That playful, culture and art-filled upbringing still fuels my work today. I create colorful illustrations inspired by travel, nature, cooking, cocktails, and ordinary moments made magical. I live on the coast of Half Moon Bay, California with my husband, two daughters, and a wildly lovable Fox Red Lab.
